Hi there! I’m MJ, and I live with a life-threatening tree nut allergy. I also happen to love traveling; visiting remote national parks, big cities around the world, and everything in between. Those two things rarely work well together. When airlines don’t acknowledge certain allergies, it’s next to impossible to know what’s safe to eat. When major allergen lists vary by country and allergen labeling is inconsistent, going out to eat and trying new foods can be difficult.

            I always try to research my destinations as much as possible, but it can be tiring after a while. I found myself wishing there was a single website that could answer my questions. And one day I asked “why can’t I just make one?”

            By documenting my travels, focusing on experiences with my tree nut allergy, I hope to one day have enough data points to help people plan vacations, make informed decisions, and feel more at ease traveling with their allergy. Thanks for joining me on this adventure!
